Our Values
- Children & Adolescents are the most precious human resources who need to be provided with opportunities that equip them mentally to be active citizens pursuing the ideals of universal brotherhood, egalitarianism and social justice. It is through them that we can hope to fulfil the dream of a world society aware about their inalienable human rights and responsibilities.
- Children & Adolescents are either being brought up in inimical Darwinist environment of deprivation, violence, amorality, insensitivity, apathy and consumerism which dry up the sources of their inherent human emotions and harden them into self-seeking, asocial, hedonistic beings. They are also being exposed to various sectarian and inherently violent modes of thinking which might cage them for whole of their lives and turn them into bigots of different hues annulling the dream of a world created on the bedrock of equality, liberty and fraternity.
- Children & Adolescents are the most impressionable, the most curious, the most ingenious and his most vulnerable; section of our society. Their exposure to the humanitarian values permeating the classics of the world literature can be one slow but a highly effective and abiding approach that might provide them with alternative sites of personality formation in the modern world. It might inculcate in them an awareness of the worth of self and other human beings; an awareness of the worth of peace, nonviolence, mutual respect and cooperation, democratic ideals; an awareness of the worth of our planet that sustains humanity with its numerous bounties endangered by mindsets of greed, apathy and consumerism.
